PHYS 301 - General Relativity - 2016 Fall PHYS 301 Utvalgte emner i teoretisk fysikk Introduction to Einstein's Theory of General Relativity The course will give a basic introduction to curved coordinate systems, in Flat and Curved space; the equivalence principle and Einstein's gravitational field equation; Schwatzschild's (1916) solution [Black Holes, Neutron Stars], Friedmann's solution [Cosmology, Red shift]. Based on L.D. Landau & E.M.
